Would you prefer to be forever stuck in the 1990s or in the 2000s

You're cursed, you have to be stuck forever in one decade (at the end of the decade it will begin again with the same events, same news...)

And obviously, if you choose 1990s, bye bye your iphones, bye bye streaming platforms, you will have access to this decade's (1990s) technology.

And you will remember 2023, when you got stuck in the decade you choose you dont forget about your live from before you got stuck, you will remember 2023, 2022...

So if you choose the 90s you will live from 1990 to 1999 and then after december 31 1999, you will go to January 01 1990 again

Oh and you will be 20 years old at the begginning of the decade and 29 at the end and when it begin again you will again have 20 years old again and the friends you made will forget you obviously because we went back in time.

You have 2 choice : Would you prefer be stuck in the 1990s or in the 2000s ?

1990s :

The most important question is how old will I be? I rather be an adult than a child.

Why some gays are so obsessed with being stuck in some certain time ?

I was too young to remember most of it, but the 90s have such a magical feel and pop culture was at such a peak.

With these type of questions I will always pick the most recent time. Technology, better medicine, more progressive legislation etc have improved our lives in so many ways.  2000s was definitely better to be gay and HIV treatments were better. The one thing going for the 90s is that it did have that nice period between the fall of communism and 9/11.

Nothing would feel the same because you've already experienced everything and what came after, so I guess I'd rather experience the decade I was young in? So, the 90s?

But being able to relive the boom of instant messaging/social media in the early 2000's would be way too much fun.

2000s. I want to re-live Fergie's The Dutchess, Mariah's Emancipation, and Lil' Kim's Naked Truth eras, + Rihanna's rise. I also want to re-live the release of The Descent and House of Wax (remake).

2000s. Simply too iconique.

I wouldn’t wanna relive 9/11 and it’s consequences but I also don’t wanna live in a decade that doesnt have Lady Gaga so

90s. I can live off of Shania, Britney, TLC with some Mariah & Whitney. I'll be a-ok, plus I loved the Nintendo 64 era.

90s is my favorite era. I would gladly relive those years over and over again.

reliving 9/11 once a decade would be crazy :rip: like you would just know it was coming and have your calendar marked for it every ten years

It's not gays, it's with everyone. I used to think it was odd that older people were stuck in the 1980s, but now here I am stuck between 2005 til 2013.

Exactly, I think many people are only thinking about the late 90s

The early 90s was still a mess for gays with the HIV epidemic, imagine reliving that. :biblio:

The 90s I guess. It seemed more optimistic. 2000s had 9/11, the financial crisis and Putin

That being said though 2000s had better/more fun music, all of my favorite TV shows and it was probably better for gays
