She seems to have “manifested” her own commercial decline.

be careful what you wish for, Doja. Insulting her own fans was not the best idea.

This is a mostly pure rap album with a few pop elements sprinkled here and there, so expected. She proved what she intended to with this one. Planet Her was obviously designed to be ear candy to the GP, hence the big numbers.

Plenty rap albums pull double these numbers.

the way she might not even outsell traumazine with a #1 hit, tonnes of publicity and promo

I mean album sales is usually pushed by fanbase in contrast to singles which are usually pushed by the GP. Considering she literally and openly attacked her fans, Id be a bit susprised if they were still buying her album

Not really sure what this post is trying to imply considering much of the blockbuster albums of the last half decade have been hip hop albums. Doja just dropped a snoozer.

That rap is not something people want to hear from Doja on a big scale but she still felt the need to prove she can release exactly that when she feels like it. Pretty much all of her hits are pop or at least pop leaning (Vegas, PTTR).

The fact that this prediction was higher than the real HDD prediction

I can’t believe how hard she’s fallen off, I feel Megan was even more so in her hate train era with the whole Tony Lanez situation too

she'll have longevity and once the physicals/vinyls are released, she might snatch #1.

Oh my god :deadbanana: No one could have imaged these numbers for her, this is incredibly low

Behead Hudson is in no ways a reliable source :rip:

Let's be real, the album is skip after skip. The singles and visuals have been excellent so far, but the album is bloated. There are a few gems but the album feels like a chore. Still love her aesthetic this era, though.

I am perched for a potential Ajay react to this one :lakitu: notifications ON

58k+ on a solo written album where she won't have to shill songs produced by a rapist, keeping her morals intact.

Not everyone once on Kemosabe has that! :clap3:
