That’s not what I said. At all.

It’s crazy how big Bad Bunny is as I don’t think I’ve ever heard a single one of his songs. I wouldn’t know who he was if it wasn’t for ATRL and his WWE appearances. To be fair, I don’t think I know any Drake songs either. :deadbanana:

"It's crazy how big so and so cuz I've never heard anything from them"

Reread what you said. If i said that same post to Taylor or any other artist on that list i would chewed out. Thats the problem with what youre saying .You been on this site how long and you're still surprised why a certain artist is so popular?

That's why it's hard to see what you said as anything other than a drag.

I don't get why Taylor stans admitting they don't like to rap or reggaeton or anything outside of top 40 pop and their fave and acting like it's a good drag :deadbanana2:

Swifties always get blamed for things non-Swifties say :rip: It’s a trend I notice a lot on here.

“You do realise there’s 10 people listed in the OP, right? I’ve heard songs from 8/10 of them, which is why I’m shocked I’ve never heard (at least to my knowledge) a single Bad Bunny or Drake song in my lifetime, as you’d think with them being this popular, they’d be inescapable, even for somebody like me, who favours rock music. For example, I don’t listen to BTS, Ed or Justin Bieber, but I’ve heard their songs.”

I already explained what I meant in further detail. :giraffe:

I don’t understand 1) why my comment triggered them so much and 2) why they looked at my Jesse Williams profile photo and thought “that’s a Swiftie!” :deadbanana:

I'm editing the post. Sorry I just see some stanbases using this as a drag as of late and it's been annoying me.

Some people can be sensitive about their favorite artists. I used to get really defensive about Taylor, hell sometimes I still do, but I mostly understand that whether or not someone knows or likes her has no bearing on me and there’s no point arguing with someone’s music taste :gaycat6:

I mean it’s ok I wasn’t singling you out, it just happens a lot lol. For what it’s worth, I understand that others have used that kind of statement as a drag in the past (Europeans used to use it to discredit Taylor a lot) but in this case I don’t think the guy you’re quoting was dragging BB at all. He’s not implying he doesn’t understand the fame, he’s just pointing out their own surprise at -their- personal experience of not having heard a song yet. That’s all. My perception at least. But carry on as you were

These are including their streams on other artist’s songs they’re featured on. Depends if you want to go by that or not. To each their own!

That’s exactly what I’m saying! I didn’t say “I don’t listen to this artist, so why is he popular?” I’m shocked at how he’s managed to completely slide under my radar whilst being this popular on streaming. It wasn’t even remotely a drag, if anything, it was a drag to myself. :deadbanana:

I get that :dies: It’s like acknowledging that you might be out of touch, not calling the artist unknown

That fast!?!?!?

I thought it would only happen by the end of the year. She's gonna be #1 by the end of the year then. Unless Drake's album is a huge smash

1989 TV coming for the Drake record me thinks

this was in january and how much each added since then

Drake - 54.9B (+8B)

Bunny - 49.4B (+8.5B)

Taylor - 40.2B (+17.7B) :deadbanana4:

Ed - 40.2B (+4.3B)

Weeknd - 38.1 (+9.5B)

I need my data visualization nerd Swifties to make a line graph showing over the last 12 months at 1-month intervals the monthly updates overall Top 10 for streams. Genuinely curious at the pace of each per month.

this is impressive, i remember this time last year, the forecast for her to reach Drake is end of this decade and she would never reach Bad Bunny indefinitely (cause at the time Bad Bunny daily stream was like double her)

The Eras Tour and Midnights really did wonder on her streaming stat

Yeah, what's impressive about a female artist, 17 years into her career, who debuted in the end of physical/debut of digital era and removed her music from Spotify for 3 years during her first peak, dominating streaming?

how is an artist that smash in physical sales and then the 2nd best selling artist in digital era (only behind Rih, but if we dont count Rih`s features then Taylor is number 1 digital artist)

and now smashing on streaming is not impressive compare to artists that literally debut in streaming era
