Both are insanely good songwriters, storytellers and know exactly how to express the emotions they want to express in their singing :celestial5:

And on the numbers side they both are at the very top of "streams for album tracks"

Not sure about that. She's not a physical nor digital seller, and 100K streaming units are 125M US streams first week...

didn't Planet Her do 110k with no single as big as PTTR at the time. I'd say 120k is attainable

Can we celebrate 1st week 300k sales + debut at #1  first ?

:doc::heart2:

Hopefully Olivia or Zach can stop that

Doja?

i mean if you're hoping Olivia can stop that, i'm pretty sure Doja can do more numbers that week when she has PTTR

It did 10k digital? Hmmmm okay.

We will see. It's really hard to tell how many fans she has lost.

PTTR is obviously random. It's a really good song and has just connected

I don't even like Olivia but people trying to pretend that 100k in the second week is bad is just ridiculous :rip:

Why is the 7th album by a 42 year old woman being compared to the 2nd album by a 20 year old?

Even comparing Chromatica is ridiculous. Olivia SHOULD be outselling these artists except Billie.

Anything over 100K should always be celebrated :clap3:

Yeah this really is her HTE, just with an extra 1-2 hit singles. Acclaim, strong pure sales, but a noticeable decline in streaming numbers

The 1 or 2 hits make a huge difference in the future tho

People will listen to those hits even if they don't to the full album

Y'all are doing way too much.  Those were just recent albums by major artists.  Would you make the argument that Beyonce is not a major artist?  Because I think she certainly is.

You guys have unrealistic expectations for Olivia. 100k for a second week is amazing numbers. Not everything is a mega mega smash that breaks records.

I agree with you. Im nervous for Doja's numbers since most of the promo singles haven't really done much. If she outdoes PH i'll be happy

Great numbers for Rod Wave, hope his projections continue to increase :clap3:
