Beyondslay Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Gimmie that 1 billion! then I'm going to adopt some deserving children and pass it off to them when I die buried in custom Balmain followed by an epic dance party with a full open bar!
zasderfght Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) 1 billion and 75. I have a chronic pain condition, so I feel like if I was a billionaire, I'd have access to more quality care. My doctors are very stingy with pain medications (and understandably so, but I've built enough trust and rapport with my providers that it's more they don't want to become dependent on meds), and that makes my life a LOT harder. Rather than being on Lyrica, Cymbalta, and taking medical cannabis or Kratom for added relief, it'd be much easier if I could get even just get prescribed small dose of Tramadol or Codeine to take as prescribed, rather than be on all these other meds. that aren't moving the needle that much. And believe me, I have tried everything you can possibly think of for chronic pain-- only opioids work for me, sadly. Edited September 14, 2023 by zasderfght
Johnny Jacobs Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 1 billion easyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy i dont want to live forever.mp3
Aethereal Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Easily 1B. The nostalgia would kill me.
Dessy Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 The $1B. I dont think I can truly live through our society to 1000. People would get suspicious, I'd have to fake my death or dip very early due to not really aging. And I'd still have to work for my means. Sure I'll get to see events and advancements but what cost to my mental well-being? 1
katara Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) I dunno if yall had any contact with really old people but many of them want to die. My best friend's grandpa is like 92 and he wishes for nothing more than to pass away immediately Same with the grandma of another friend who is like 96 and she said multiple times she wants to die in her sleep or by Covid or anything basically My mom's grandma also lived until 95 and my mom said that she wished to die starting in her 70s after he husband died. I think life after 80 is really just suffering from pain and a hundred health conditions for most people that get to that age. Not to mention they have likely lost their spouse and even some children by that time. Now imagine living to 1000 Edited September 14, 2023 by katara 1
