Imagine that you were the one that ruined the record breaking chain of paying it forward

You’re supposed to do the same thing for the car behind you …

And you didn't pay for the person behind you? :coffee2:

Like I said I was shocked and didn’t know what to do. I left without paying for the person behind me :rip:

Yeah it doesn't always work if your order is like $10 and you go: "I'll also pay for the person behind me"

Drive-thru: "Sure, its 70 bucks"

You: "ok well the car after them then" :rip:

could go on forever.

This happened to me once, my order was like $5 at most... I decided to 'pay it forward' and pay for the car behind me's order... their order was like $25 :toofunny2: if it ever happens again I'll definitely ask how much it is before I cover someone else's tab lol

buttt tbh also this.. like it seems all cutesy and do-gooder-y but my order is never more than $10; i know some of the heauxs that pull thru in the California suburbs are ordering like $30-40 for the whole family or friend group, sorry but I’d be mad as hell if that happened to me :deadbanana: I think the idea of a pay it forward “chain” is kinda weird and no one should feel obliged to do it if they get lucky enough to benefit from it lol

plot twist: the car behind you was her other friend who's order was more than yours

That's really cute. It has never happened to me though.
