Monthly listeners is reflective of the GP I would say no, monthly listeners is reflective of playlisting. The more playlist reaches you get, the more unique listeners you will reached.

The only artists that have similar ratio of Monthly Listeners and Monthly Streams are Bad Bunny and Taylor Swift. She is fine. She hasn't had an album in 8 years. Taylor is on another level. You act like no one is streaming Rihanna's music when she has like 20 million streams daily. Edited September 14, 2023 by JustLikeHoney

Rihanna is also winning substantially too, especially in context. Rihanna isn’t miles and leagues above others in play-listing so, this is very impressive

She gets 500m-550m monthly streams with 76m monthly listeners, that looks just fine to me.
zzmyth Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Of course anything that is not about Taylor is not relevant. You guys should already know this by now... It's so tyring... I can't with the swifties being so annoying... Enjoy the success of your fave. The fact that others are successful too, doesn't take anything from Taylor... goshhh 1
Bosque Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Y’all need to start pirating her music so she actually releases again
JawBreaker Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Her team really knows how to playlist her well
mypaintoyou Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 I remember her releasing yearly 😩 I pray TS doesn’t do us like this Riii the only other person who can outstream TS when they release music
newaespa Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 SEE when you make good music that girl and her buzzing fandom cannot relate

Her editorial playlist reach is currently at 38M and represents 6% of her total playlist reach (590M) according to ChartMetric. In case you needed more proof that it's a dumb, stale drag And even if we ignore the editorial vs total playlist reach ratio here's a list of artists that have a bigger playlist reach than Rihanna right now: The Weeknd 816M Taylor Swift 793M Drake 723M Dua Lipa 722M Justin Bieber 695M Ed Sheeran 691M Nicki Minaj 677M Calvin Harris 634M Miley Cyrus 614M Bad Bunny 598M Doja Cat 595M So she's not even top 10 but she's #3 in monthly listeners... lmao 1 1
Raspberries Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 (edited) Y'all know monthly listeners is essentially just good playlisting right? The real metric is daily streams where she is 16th Edited September 14, 2023 by Raspberries
Klein Posted September 14, 2023 Posted September 14, 2023 Monthly listeners is not really a useful metric imo but that still shows she has one of the highest reach out of every artists. I'm more impressed by her streams that remained extremely high. How is she at 20M when she was oscillating around 18M a few months back?

The real metric is daily streams where she is 16th Except it's not, considering there's a dozen of artists that have better playlisting than her. Then there's also the fact that the playlisting y'all keep talking about is very largely coming from organic playlists, created by listeners/fans. In her case less than 6% of her reach comes from editorial playlists created by Spotify (38M), the rest (552M) is organic. She performs better in unique listeners than total streams right now because she doesn't have new music out. The day she released "Lift Me Up" she was #5 in daily streams and not even top 10 in monthly listeners. There's no such thing as "real metric", unique listeners and daily streams are two different ways of measuring popularity and both matter equally. 4
