Y'all please use some logic. Olivia has released a full album with 12 songs. V, on the other hand, released an R&B EP with only 6 songs. Also, V's album consists of only 4 versions. He hasn't released any remixes and unlike the other members, he hasn't done any US promotions either. He is currently only focused on Korea and Japan promotions.

 

And despite all this Olivia is expected to debut 250K, while V is expected to debut 100K. How do you call this a flop?

I wasn't talking wrt Olivia. Jimin and Jungkook's lead singles were pushed hard to go #1 while there was almost no effort made for V

These numbers seem right. Her US Spotify debut was great, but she "only" has 6 out of the Top 10 on US Apple Music (and doesn't have the #1). 

 

Screaming at how we had to put up with 2 years of Billie vs. Olivia stan wars on this forum, only for their sophomore albums to likely debut within 30K-ish of each other

Well, because he doesn't want to. Which makes a lot of sense because his album is jazzy R&B, we all know that is not a chart-friendly genre. It would be a bit of a waste for his agency to promote him like the members who release pop albums/singles, even though he is one of the most popular members. Also, the region where V is most popular is Asia. So it makes sense that he would focus his promotions on Korea and Japan. He sold 1.6 million physical albums in just two days. He has sold more albums than any member who has ever released a solo album in just two days. So don't worry he's in better than good.
