Billboard Hot 100: 09/23/2023 early predictions.Vampire back to #1,bad idea right? #6

It sucks that Get Him Back won't debut in the top 10 :( Maybe it will re-enter there in the succeeding weeks. How it is holding on streaming sites and radio? It could be as big as Good 4 U

Cruel Summer is still in the top 5! This is Taylor's easiest chance to go #1 yet she did not bother moving a finger :skull: If only she had given this at least Lavender Haze type of promo it could have gone number one for multiple weeks :giraffe:

Hold on there, Anti-Hero. I want you to chart for more than a year. I will also need to have Midnights to remain in the top 10 for at least a year.

Wouldn't it be #11 without the album bomb? Vampire was still Top 10 :toofunny2:

:rip:

All my records live in the top 11?

atrl told me vampire was a flop ???

where are the old pressed gays that refuse to accept OLIVIA RODRIGO is here to stay

Is that ANOTHER -30+ drop for a Nicki Minaj track? :coffee2:  I still love the record, but she isn't helping her reputation much.

If she's not putting Ice Spice on every track on this album, I fear week two will be very disappointing for chart-watchers.

Bongos #10 without the Olivia songs and #1 without the 13 songs ahead of it

It would of have been number 11 actually because Get Him Back was already scheduled to be release. :katie:

Megan will also be on Cardi album twice. Why you not shading Cardi as well?

It’s really not considering there’s nothing left for the song to do. That’s its peak.

Sounds like Nicki Red Ruby Da Sleeze and Last Time I Saw You teas

Almost EVERY non-Ice Spice collab from Nicki has fallen second-week in the last 5 years.

From DWHAP & SFG downwards.

Meg & Cardi have a track record of growth after first week. Maybe BONGOS will be an exception to their track record, but you would think having their two arch-rivals on the charts again would energize the Barbz to avoid this trend.

the way she could've easily made it a #1 and didn't bother

it's giving 180 and self sabotage

The delusion to think taylor wouldn't put everything she had into something if she thought it could go #1. Look at her career, she lives and dies for the charts. Her market research must have shown it wasn't going #1, so she rightfully didn't keep pushing.

How much did Hot Garbage increase by its second week? Since Cardi has track record is so impeccable?

Not Vampire tying Wrecking Ball's record for longest gap for return to #1 for an original chart run :superman:

1-3-7-10-9-6-6-8-12-9-1 is such an iconic chart run

Both Disney girls did it at the age of 20, impressive. :clap3:

You tell me. As long as she didn't release a dazed-and-confused video making excuses for the song, I'll give her a pass.

The song is called Bongos... what did you expect to happen?

Y’all always giving her a pass lol

So? I’m not even comparing Cardi to anyone. Just saying that the song did not work at all.

It's tough to get mad at someone who could now potentially launch a 25-track 2nd album or album deluxe edition off of WAP, UP, Please Me, Money, Press, Hot ****, and BONGOS.

An album with these alone, and potentially one post-album hit to help week one, could last on the BB200 for another 5 years. All that sophomore slump talk would evaporate immediately.

In comparison, that Queen Radio compilation with all her new hits (and all of the biggest sellers from previous albums) is stealing sales units from all of her other albums. It was a mistake.

Do It!

It's hard to be delusional in this case when I see 2 BIG streamers that both went #1, a hefty Top 5 with a marquee co-lead, a 4x Platinum almost-top 10, and Top 15s Hot **** / BONGOS in front of me. Sophomore slump WHERE? That's a lot of units towards an album certification.

You typed an incoherent novel for no reason. HOLLERING.

stay on topic and make it make sense.

You mentioned songs falling down the charts week 2!?! Cardi has plenty of those plus additional FLOPS. Holding a legend to some unreal level when she’s been in the game for decades is quite hilarious but others get a “pass”

It only took 6-7 years to accumulate.
