For comparison, WAP would’ve debuted all the way down at #8 with its US debut numbers in this environment. But the actual streams are lower though, not just the position. But I guess WAP was height of COVID + streams could’ve been up. Where did UP and Hot **** debut?

Oh yeah there’s no excuse for the numbers which I think there are several reasons why they declined so much. But I do think the US position is slightly misleading as to its level of bombing.
truthteller Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Will Cardi ever fall off…. Well we’ll we’ll

Bongos 979,568 Bongos numbers are not that far from Up, but Bongos had an Olivia's album bomb I'm shocked Hot **** number is higher though
katara Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 That's a lot actually for such a garbage song. Cardi is completely over. She has no vision.

But yeah…not sure what it means for longevity of the song. I can see this song doing well on TikTok especially in comparison to Hot ****. So let’s see. Edited September 9, 2023 by professor2000
legendofthetour Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 This is such a bad song, I genuinely cannot believe they thought it was a good idea, Cardi has now dropped 2 duds in a row as the lead artist, and Megan has started off her post trial era with a huge embarrassing flop. What a mess.

vale9001 Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) i'm not a buzzfeed thinkpiece so i can say it for what is this: she should come with something new than shaking her ass and lesbian bait. Edited September 9, 2023 by vale9001 1
ALA Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Oh that's not... Wasting WAP and Up with no album was a choice. For this to do this bad is alarming. 2
Ger Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 It's more than what it deserves honestly. So the "shelved" allegations are kind of true huh.
LustSpell Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) We'll see if it grows, but Cardi always screamed one-era wonder to me. Just came at the perfect time when people were tired of the repetition of female rap at the time. Edited September 9, 2023 by LustSpell
UnusualBoy Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Yeah, this is bad but she had it coming…
Billionaire Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 (edited) Cardi should just start shifting her full-time focus to being an influencer or something since her celebrity status has become bigger than her music. She clearly isn't passionate about music anyway and few times she drops the songs are horrible quality + always end up underperforming. Sad for Megan that her comeback single had to be wasted on this DOA mess. Edited September 9, 2023 by Billionaire
La Reina Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Cardi really dropped the ball by not dropping the album in 2021. Honestly ever since "Press" her music has been going downhill with an exception here and there. She just needs to release a good song and it'll smash. 4
ForgottenSoul Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 The song is good but like not catchy enough tbh
Mystic Boy Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Horrible numbers considering the hype. The biggest wasted potential for a female rapper since Azealia Banks. If she smartly released her album after WAP and UP, it would be at least 3x Platinum by now and would avoided the 1 era wonder claims 1
Caribbean Boy Posted September 9, 2023 Posted September 9, 2023 Chileeee were the bardo gang members????? Y’all really ducking this thread 😂😂😂😂 5

Seems like 2M budget going down the drain Let’s see the excuses, as BG was hyping this as her big comeback OMG
