discussion Is GUTS 'noisy' or am I getting old?

I'm used to good ballads and pop songs from the Max Martin factory assembly lines...

 

-making the bed, love is embarrassing, the grudge, teenage dream are the only songs I 'like'... on the first listen

We’re getting old. The music is geared towards teens. Us gays in our early to mid 20s and beyond aren’t going to resonate like that.

 

I think Olivia is a cute pop girl but I don’t personally care or resonate with her like that because of this.

Her music is mainly targeted for teens, like every single girl my age listens to her songs. I don’t really see anyone in their 20’s really relating to songs like jealousy, jealousy and bad idea right?

Some of my favorite albums are by Liz Phair, Alanis and Avril so the album is just fine to me. I like that it's not so polished sounding but yes, it can be considered pretty noisy.

Well there’s no reason to listen to her unless you are under 16. I liked a few songs from her debut but this one is too juvenile for my taste.

Those two Hole albums are amazing! "Violet" and "Dying" are my all time favorite songs!
