mercurialworld Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Much like Leah Kate is about to fly to the top of the charts, many people fly all around the world everyday. But whether for business or a personal holiday, what's the longest flight you have been on? Was it for work, pleasure, or something else? Did you feel like the time dragged or flew by? My personal record was a 13 hour flight to Tokyo from [REDACTED]. And not to be too cliché, but the time did fly! We were with a group of friends, and before we knew it, we had arrived in Tokyo and were exploring all that the country had to offer. I did get some sleep on the plane however
makeme Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Its 8-9 hours flying to Europe from Florida and 9-10 flying back. I guess Frankfurt to Orlando was the longest
Taste of Honey Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Longest ones I’ve been on are Toronto to Seoul(and in reverse) which I think was a little over 14 hours. The next was Dublin to Vancouver which was about 11, I think. So so SO long. The Seoul to Vancouver one wasn’t that bad though because I had been up for 24 hours prior to it so I just passed out the whole flight.
byzantium Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 About 13 hours to fly from SF to eastern Asia.
Jotham Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 I've been on flights from San Francisco to Manila that have lasted 15 hours. They always feel awfully long since I hardly get any sleep on an airplane.
shyboi Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 México to Japan. Then 11 hours at the airport, then Singapore. A nightmare.
shookspeare Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Longest single flight was 10 hours, but then I had a 6 hour connecting flight. literally a nightmare
Nightingale Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 San Francisco to Seoul was 10+ hours. The seats were so cramped so I was in pain by the end
BraveNewSeth Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I don’t know how y’all are doing these 10+ hour flights. My longest flight was from east to west coast US, so maybe 4 hours? And I was grumpy af afterwords
HappierJealousy Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 5 years. We stuck in the time tunnel. When our plane land we were surrounded by FBI and some of us got superpowers. I shouldn’t say this but I guess you guys won’t believe me so I think it will be fine
nadiamendell Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Who knew we had so many world travelers on their 14+ hour flights on here? The longest I've been on is from Chicago to London and then London to Chicago... 7-8 hours.
Alldeezy Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 Flight from Australia to LA which was 18+ hours then at LA to NY was another 6 hours. I was so over flying at that point. I think or maybe it was 20 hours all together. I can't remember 2012 was so long ago now.
Gaia Posted September 4, 2023 Posted September 4, 2023 I just landed in Sydney from LA which was a 14 hour flight. And YUCK Lord it felt never ending.

NYC -> LA -> Sydney. 20 hours total of flying
