tili33 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 by the time 1989 drops Radio will have already dropped it, and she'll probably push a vould song as a single anyway.
FolkLover1989 Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 She doesn't wanna outpeak Deja Vu cause she loves Olivia Haters will say I am wrong 4
Heartbreak Prince Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Probably saving the tactics for whatever single she’s planning on releasing for 1989.
Badgalbriel Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I feel like she didn't think the song had any chance so they had nothing prepared for it. But still, a #3 is still a hit. This song will also chart for a looooot of weeks. We're good.
Hot Volcano Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Let's see how this week goes, before any conclusions
Taylena Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 She's waiting for next week when the competition is Doja Cat. We all know how much she loves to block a black woman. /S 3 1 7 1
Kayseri Mantisi Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Because it'll be #1 next summer instead, in 2024. Now, it's 1989's turn.
truthteller Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) she said "if ME! and YNTCD didnt hit #1, nothing else from that era should" Edited September 2, 2023 by truthteller 4
Feanor Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Because Taylor only cares about the chart performance of her new songs & albums, hence the focus on '1989 (TV)' over "Cruel Summer".
mael Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 This is Her way of punishing us for forcing Her to remove the "spelling is fun" line on ME!th. She is honestly SICK. 2
truthteller Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 it costs them too much money when their main focus is to sell them 1989 TV copies and arrange the tour dates
Klein Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 She's waiting to block Olivia during her release week.
DuffLavigne Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 I think the main focus is on 1989 TV right now, Lover and Cruel Summer are smashing on its own. I can also see Cruel Summer having a big moment every summer from now on... the first song from Lover to hit 1B being a non-single is so iconic she could just drop a live video from The Eras Tour for a push while also being promo for the film Anyway, let me hope that she's ready to put out some signed CDs for Speak Now TV for this month
Villas Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 (edited) I hope she relaunchs Blank Space and give full attention to it Edited September 2, 2023 by Villas
AaronBryceSufjan Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 maybe because she's not that chart-obsessed 1
Digitalism Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 Someone said she didn't want this as a single and that it was pushed by the label
futurenostalgic Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 bc it's low in her list of priorities,
Kiss It Better Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 she will do it next year when she release Lover deluxe
Weld_E Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 She already got more than enough money for it by taking 50% of Deja vu.
