Cruel Summer getting to #2 is pretty unlikely

That's ashame. I feel like it can get close considering it's 10 points away from #2 and it's airplay is still rising

Jimmy Buffett passed away at age 76:

Hopefully, we can get Margaritaville to at least re-chart on here. (It will definitely on the ARIA chart, where it re-entered on a random week a few years ago.)

My favorite Jimmy Buffett song is Come Monday.

I saw him in concert many times & always assumed I would again.

Margaritaville should at least reaching Country songs if nothing else & probably Come Monday too. If we still had Recurrent Songs (which we unofficially do on Spotify I guess) we would see something there. Son Of A Son Of A Sailor may be my favorite.

Breif banter: We had a condo in Gulf Shores, AL (between Mobile, AL & Pensacola, FL) for almost 20 years. His sister Lucy has a restaurant & bar called Lulu's there. I met her & ate [and drank] there many times. He's originally from Mobile so that makes sense. He came in there from time to time but I never saw him there.

@Miley Cyrus TOTC had said both Fast Car & Last Night appeared to lose streams to I Remember Everything this past week. So, with IRE down a bit, FC & LN are getting some of their streams back. So, with airplay fairly stable right now, both are projected to increase a little over this past week.

DOJAAA!!! :superman:

Dissing fans and getting a #1 hit queen!

Last Night still over 200 points :biblio: I really thought it was gonna drop below 200 this week.

Either Paint the Town Red is going to be a long running #1 or Last Night is going to return to #1 in 2-3 weeks when Fast Car inevitably collapses on Pop.

It should be, but nothing is really putting the nail on the coffin (maybe with the possible exception of PTTR). Fast Car is still up there because pop radio continues to hold on to it by a thread. Once pop radio drops it, it's probably going to drop below LN because FC consistently remains 5M streams behind LN.

Demons might just **** around and outchart Last Time I Sucked You. :clap3:

Kacey Musgraves is my favorite country artist - I'm so happy she will be getting not only her first Top 10 hit ever, but her first Top 10 simultaneously being her first #1. Hopefully this song helps her get many more thereafter.

Also congrats to Doja, she really proved me wrong with this song's performance.

Fast Car bigger than Bad Romance :deadbanana2:

Creepin feels bigger than Fast Car. It's just that the competition was stronger during Creepin's peak, which prevented it from reaching higher than #3. I bet you Creepin would have been a #1 if it peaked when Fast Car did.

Which time when Fast Car peaked at #2 lol? That's happened a lot! FC had around 300 at its strongest. What was Creepin's top point peak? I guess we'll know this fall as FC grows older. I tend to think itll have better longevity than Creepin in the long run. FC has so much HAC, AC & Country airplay that outside of the Christmas season FC literally may never die [only AC goes Christmas of course]. I can see FC easily going well past 52 weeks on the H100 as "consolation" for missing #1 & 30 T10 weeks wont surprise me either.

Taylor team simply not promoting CS for that #1 is extremely weird , what a fail

Did they hate the viral moment or what :rip:

Good for Doja :clap3:

It’s been too far away in points for several weeks, a big promo push would’ve have worked, time to let it go.
