It's very obvious that Taylor didn't force anyone to give any credits otherwise Olivia would be crying all over for some sympathy from Taylor's haters.  She's also not denying anything because she wants her name in the headlines next to Taylor, especially now that her album is coming out.  If she's mad about anything it should be with herself for her "i'm tHe biGgEst sWiFtiE eVeR" promo campaign for her debut album, plagiarizing Taylor and then "incriminating" herself talking about the album creation process.

I think Vampire shows more ambition than Taylor's output in terms of ambition and melody. So that comparison is not exactly apt. Olivia is however still a little green and if her lyrics mature a bit, she can be great (remains to be seen).

Considering how Olivia is still on great terms with St. Vincent it's pretty clear Taylor was the one who went after the credits.
