They are already dead. Respecting them or not won't do ****. They don't exist anymore. Humans make up too much bullshit.

I think there are people who're deserving and undeserving of respect in death.

Someone you loved, someone who was good, someone who left behind something positive in the world. Those are the people who're deserving of respect in death because while they're not here to collect the respect, their legacy and what they left behind is.

On the other end, those who are bad, who damaged the world in their life, who left behind something negative and ugly, they don't deserve your respect in death.

It’s all politics at the end of the day. Feel free to disrespect whoever, whenever, just know that disrespect is gonna be matched one way or another

I respect who deserved to be respected. Dead or alive.

I will cherish or call out any person for what they have done.

because they’ll haunt you forever in ways you can’t even begin to comprehend and it’ll mess you up

I don’t think we must respect the dead. I think we must respect people who deserve it, even after death.

It’s nice to show respect for those who in life built legacies that are important to other people, but that doesn’t mean that their life and legacy are not up for debate. And if they were despicable they should not be respected just because they’re dead 💀

I mean, they literally can't defend themselves anymore, so it's kind of unfair to talk sh*t about them, isn't it?

Because if we don't they will come back and haunt us. I dont play with Demons sis. :biblio:

We don’t. They’re worm food. Who cares. I don’t respect the living either. Respect is earned.

I think when someone has recently died, it's just polite to be nice about them for the sake of their family and friends. After a while though I agree it's a bit pointless.

I especially hate it when someone dies who was an objectively terrible person and everyone suddenly forgets all the bad things they did. Or people switch up and go from hating them in life to talking about how sad it is they're dead. I'm not saying you have to celebrate them dying either, but there is a middle ground of indifference which would seem more appropriate.
