i think it would've debuted with more than 1,3m cuz the album itself was a smash and had various tracks with +1,2m, didn't it? 

penhasco2 had it's name that would already guarantee a bigger debut than the others album tracks, it would've probably debuted with 1,6m or something. but yeah that's 100% useless cuz it's all speculation  she did help!!  and most important thing is that it created a momentum for your guys fave right before her the town concert this saturday! hope they perform it together, thay would be very good for both of them.

Demi is loved in Brazil, but this time Luísa did the heavy lifting, her new album is absolutely breaking a lot of records in Brazil and the numbers are so high that she is surpassing some worldwide names, I think her album did more in the first day than Rosalia's last one and Rosalia is a worldwide name. 

 

So, once again: Brazil loooooves Demi, we really do, I think we are one of her biggest markets in therms of consistency, she will now be playing on a big festival on the main stage, fans went to the airport to see her... she is really a main girl for us and sure her singing in Portuguese is in some way her saying thank you to Brazilian fans, I have no doubt!

I agree and actually we all think that Luisa did the bigger part here but I also think Penhasco2 would just be like the other album tracks if it wasn't for Demi singing in Portuguese specifically.  I think the 2M mark was reached thanks to Demi since some of her usual english promoted singles debut in the 300k area already on Spotify Brazil.

But yeah, the album is amazing and Luisa's voice is so soothing I'm actually obsessed.

Would you mind suggesting some of her nicest songs not part of Escândalo Íntimo?

I just the whole album once, I really like the song "Lança menina" but if you are not Brazilian you wouldn't get the regional pop reference she is doing on this track. I am really not the biggest Luisa fan, so I have to get back to you later. I can tell I like the album because it is a departure of her signature "shaking ass songs". I will leave you with two of her past songs that I like, the first "Penhasco" and "Boa Menina" - this one for me is her best pop girl moment with the full choreo.

On what you said before: I agree Demi is one reason for "Penhasco2" going so well, but I think this is also because of her Brazilian fans. I still don't seem many foreigners making reacting videos to the song. I think this is what I tried to say, yes Demi is worldwide no doubt, but the songs have more attention from her Brazil fans than the rest of the world of fans.

 

All in all, I think this success has a lot to do with Brazil. We love when a foreign artist pay attention to us. 

 

I sure see Demi fans from other places talking about the song but it is more in ATRL for example. I hope more people will hear it because it is good. They both really do sound good together.
