I prefer using the YouTube app for music playback as it offers a superior experience compared to streaming services. However, the recent update has made it challenging to avoid advertisements, causing inconvenience for me. I don't know how much longer I can do this for.

the day adblock stops working on youtube is the day I flat out stop visiting it

 

it's literally impossible to watch videos without it at this point

I feel you so I cheated the system and install Vanced and at first it was fine but it stopped working properly so I have to keep reinstalling it but I had enough of it so I decided to get YT Premium. Imo it's worth the money since I'm a YT heavy user, plus, it let me use YT Music Premium  as well (which I didn't know until recently). So basically I'm paying one price for two subscriptions. I said goodbye to Spotify since I don't need it anymore as YT Music is a good music streams service as well.

Despite having multiple adblockers today for the first time ads appear while I was watching Youtube videos at the beginning, now I recheck and they are not appearing anymore, I thought Youtube found a way to bypass adblockers.

If you have Android,  look into YouTube Vanced or YouTube ReVanced. It's pretty easily to set up

The amount of ads it's ridiculous. Before, you could close the video and open it back again to avoid the ads but not anymore. And as if these unskippable ads were enoughr, they have to spam the comment/below section with more .

on Android there is one app that mutes and autoskips the ad. you only hear 0.5 sec of the ad.
