As for Morgan Wallen, he said the N-word, that doesn't mean he was racist. When I was at school pretty much everybody said the N-word regularly. :rip: I

I’m actually shook at just how beautiful IRE is. What a runaway smash for the pair of them I’m so happy.

Especially for Kacey, this is another big f*** you to the country establishment that refuses to play her. Surely they have to now with it being a #1 country song on the Hot 100.

This whole conversation with country v rap seems racially motivated but ok

I wonder if Luke is planning something for next week

Yesterday he tweeted this, but it probably doesn't mean anything lol

I knew this thread will be derailed when I saw that rap vs. country post :bibliahh:

With it spending 5 consecutive days at #1 on both Spotify and Apple Music, it has a grand total of... 11 spins on country radio :rip: So I wouldn't get your hopes up. They're very likely going to pay this dust while they aggressively push whatever the newest iteration of "I love beer and my truck" that was just released by Luke Bryan or Thomas Rhett is.

I genuinely don't get how any of these songs can be considered queerphobic? And I don't think any of them are racist either. I understand why some people think Try That In a Small Town is racist, but I don't think it is personally, it was meant as an anti-crime/community unity song imo, and the rest aren't racist in any way.

As for Morgan Wallen, he said the N-word, that doesn't mean he was racist. When I was at school pretty much everybody said the N-word regularly. :rip: I mean, Joe Biden has said the N-word too (twice in fact, and it's on video), I don't hear people going on about his "racist past" all the time. Likewise there are plenty of actually racist people who never say the N-word, you can't judge people just based on that.

That does not make it right you dumbass.

Is there a chance Doja leapfrogs Luke for the #2 at the last minute?

Miley took a hit on AM today, let's hope Spotify doesn't follow suit... :gaycat6:

It certainly could given how it keeps performing, but I bet Luke is going to repeat at #2.

Does IRE have a chance at repeating at #1 next week?

as long as she secures the points for top 10 then that's fine. It seems 8 is likely for week 1.

If he drops 10% or more next week then Doja (or anyone) will take the #1 easily:cm:

country radio is truly something else. country as a genre has so many good artists but country radio always snub them and push the most basic songs.

I'm so excited for Christmas songs to dominate the charts from September-December every year. Just kidding, Billboard needs to remove Christmas songs from charting before the all-time lists become screwed up even further.
