The Russian space agency Roscosmos announced that the Luna-25 probe, sent by Russia, crashed on the Moon.

While Russia was counting on sending this probe to the Moon to relaunch the country in the space race, the space agency Roscosmos announced that on Saturday August 19, the Luna-25 probe "ceased to exist following a collision with the lunar surface", report several media.

They need to send the next one with someone piloting it to prevent this from happening. Maybe Medvedev or Shoigu or Dugin or Putin if he frees up his busy busy schedule.

Put all of them on it... to ensure mission success :thing:

Imagine having a severely compromised economy... losing a war you yourself started... and then spending money on lunar shuttles. :clown:

Russia must still be seething at the fact that the US launched a robot on Mars. And Russia can’t even make it to the moon properly.

Are they crazy? Even if this attempt ended up being successful why would they do this in the middle of the war and sanctions? Could this be because the war lasted more than they expected?

Must have been a part of the "New World Order" plan after Russia hypothetically imagined to take over Ukraine within a month or so, the first and most notable scientific achievement of the new era, to impress the world and feel the new spirit.

Common human desire to be special.  But a total fail in the end.
