This is proof that those albums were only charting thanks to the songs in the diamond collection.

he knew that.

The "complication" every ATRLer's fave would love to have :jonny5:

“All Post Malone albums depart from the Billboard 200” would have been unthinkable to hear in 2019.

His career trajectory is so bizarre like you really couldn’t stop him from dominating back in 2018/19. Idk what happened but the songs got so generic and the support tepid at best.

I could understand releasing a compilation if his albums were completely forgotten, but why cannibalize your chart runs when you have multiple projects  still charting? It was dumb when Abel did it and it's just as dumb now. :rip:

I thought about this.

Maybe they'll always have one album charting forever? Like if you think about it, as long as people listen to The Weeknd at all, that album will prob chart. What if it charts for the next 40 years? :deadbanana:

Adding new songs to releases is easier than ever thanks to streaming, so I wouldn't be surprised if artists just keep bloating the same compilation over the years. :rip: It's definitely a good idea to release one, but I feel both Post and Abel should've waited a few years to do so.

That's sad. I didn't even know he had released a compilation album, why did no one warn him? :deadbanana2:

i dont think really care about that

its more about the certs/sales tbh. this thing could be another big unit selling album for him :rip:

but yeah it was certainly too early. messy since they even put chemical on it so his new album is in danger of dropping some

Why would anyone release a compilation album now. Like what's the point :rip:

These compilations are a bad idea in the streaming era

An Eminem - Curtain Call: The Hits tea. That album is still #45 on Billboard 200

Well yea but 5 tracks from Stoney, 5 from beerbongs & Bentleys, 5 from Hollywoods Bleeding, and 2 from twelve carat toothache are on it. If you took every single from an artists album, I imagine they would perform the same way

That album would have 100 songs and would chart for the next century:rip:
