A pit bull tried to attack me today

Sis, im telling a story that happened to me today. And no, I don’t like pitbulls because I don’t trust them. I don’t trust them because of this dog In particular, which has already attacked my cousins dog by breaking into our yard and just tried attacking me today in which I had to swing a ******* lawnmower at it to protect myself.

If you feel personally attacked, take care of your dogs. Simple :cm: it’s not my job to look after your dog and tell you how to train them so they don’t attack people

and we've established the personal bias  :coffee2:

I'm sorry this happened to you!

Whoever owns a pitbull is human garbage and should be treated as such. Sue her for emotional trauma and let's hope they remove those monsters.

 you and all these hypotheticals.

point is: you shouldn't own a dog if you're not gonna train and care for it properly.

I currently own an Aussie Doodle and grew up with a Rottweiler, German Shepherd and Pit Bull.

the most aggressive of my past dogs was the Rottweiler.

These are not hypotheticals. These are events that happen in this country (US) daily. Negligent gun owners, negligent dog owners. One distinctly escapes consequences for lacking the responsibility.

A poorly trained doodle might **** on the floor, a poorly trained pit bull/Rottweiler/German Shepherd might kill.

No sis, I do not trust pit bulls. I don’t trust a lot of dogs, but the only dog that’s ever tried to cause me harm was a pit bull and a bulldog

and that's your trauma and experience and I'm not here to invalidate them. what am here to do is call you out on your personal bias against pit bulls and your intent when making this thread. how the intent was to have other members speak negatively about pitbulls and not the owners. :cm:

did the author of the thread state any of those things happening?

was there an imaginary 7 year old girl I missed?

so if they didn't happen, it was a hypothetical.

I would recommend you look up what 'reading comprehension' means. it will help you in your future.

If a vicious dog has already attacked animals on your property, and charged and you and tried to attack you on your own property, would you not be biased in disliking said dog too?

Especially when said dog breed is statistically the most dangerous dog in the world?

Go ahead though, you and @NewStanner can keep downvoting me and kii it up and laugh at a dog trying to attack somebody on their own property and minding their own business, but my point remains the same

I literally went into long details in the OP about how absolute trash the owners are, and how my mother has bent over backwards to play nice with them, even when their beastly dog attacked my cousins dog, on our property

OP lives society that does not incentivize any real responsibility of dangerous dog breed owners to properly control their pet and was almost mauled because of it.  Present a real argument other than “bias1!!” or exit the thread.

@NewStanner you too.

well first off, if a vicious dog has already attacked animals on my property I wouldn't be trying to mow the lawn until  I knew I was safe.

tumblr_oi0maitsiP1qgu742o2_400.gif

another issue I'm reading is you knew the dogs weren't raised properly b/c of instances beforehand and you took no action to ensure that you and others in the neighborhood were safe. literally NO ONE did until you almost got attacked. be mad at your neighbor but be mad at those who live in the neighborhood who didn't speak up before hand.

who gets mad at a dog  when dogs can't fix fences?

who gets mad at a dog when they have an owner that they have already clashed with about the unruly dogs?

how do you get mad at a dog, but dogs are only a reflection of their owners?

who runs to a music forum for sympathy from a dog attack and then gets upset when the responses aren't what they wanted?

I don’t need sympathy, I’m sharing real life experience.

Sis, it’s not my house. It’s my moms. I go there once every 2 weeks to cut her lawn. The dogs haven’t broke into our yard in a year until today.

I feel like you are massively projecting. Take care of your animals and there’s be no need to be so defensive.

@NewStanner you too.

but I did. I spoke on how it was the owners fault and not the pit bulls and you went into hypotheticals. :oh:

Im still on topic, you're the one that came in here talking about some made up situation.

I've spoken on my experience of raising one along with other dogs yet you haven't spoken on anything close to relevant .

you literally brought up a scenario that doesn't exist.:toofunny2:

I think the person who should leave is you...:cm:

So in a scenario where OP was injured, you would support charges against the owner. Glad we’re on the same page.

....  you shared a 'real life experience' on a music forum for what reason?

what was the reason niece? :oh:

it's been a year since the last incident and today when you get 'attacked' you come to a music forum to express yourself.

you had 365 days to take all precautions to protect yourself as well your mom and her property and because you didn't do anything along with the dog owners, you blame the dogs.

no one is projecting babygirl, I'm calling out your personal bias against pit bulls.

which is why you changed your OP.

you have even stated in this thread a few times you have a personal bias against pit bulls instead of dislike all animals that are not trained properly.

what you're really upset about is that I don't agree with your ignorant point of view.

Data isn't lying and you can't cheat nature. That breed is dangerous and there's a reason they are banned in most countries.

How did I change my OP :rip: I’ve stuck with the same story. It dug out on their side of the fence in their yard. What am I supposed to do, not mow the lawn? It’s THEIR side of the fence that they need to fix. Not us. It’s not my moms job to pay thousands for a new fence when it’s their dogs that keep breaking into our yards.

In the post right above this you’re telling OP it’s their fault they got attacked because they didn’t prepare. Bye stinky!

and in the posts beforehand I said blame the owner right? you know all my posts you quoted?

and yeah I did say it was partly their fault. who did he think was gonna fix the fence? he already stated his neighbor told him she's too poor to fix the fence.

did he think she was gonna protect him?

and stinky?

:toofunny2:

you gotta do better than that :ahh:

Now im not saying I condone this... or wanting to give you any ideas... but you can google what should never be fed to dogs... because it is toxic to them... which could be fatal in most cases. Idc how much of an animal lover people are... either control your animal, or don't own one at all. I have a dog and he is my world, but I have trained him to not get out of line... and he is always leashed when we go on walks. Because I respect others!!!! I understand not everyone likes dogs... especially if they are traumatized by them. I don't know WHYYYY so many dog owners are so stupid irresponsible.

Sis, it’s their side of the fence they need to fix. I don’t live at the home so no, I’m not paying thousands to fix the fence.

You’re siding with my white trash neighbor just because she’s a pitbull owner when she wouldn’t even piss on you if you were on fire. And it broke out and attacked me in our front yard, it’s their backyard fence that’s messed up.

No, it’s not my fault. At all.
