I don’t trust them because of this dog In particular, which has already attacked my cousins dog by breaking into our yard and just tried attacking me today in which I had to swing a ******* lawnmower at it to protect myself. If you feel personally attacked, take care of your dogs. Simple it’s not my job to look after your dog and tell you how to train them so they don’t attack people and we've established the personal bias 3 3
Daddy Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 I'm sorry this happened to you! Whoever owns a pitbull is human garbage and should be treated as such. Sue her for emotional trauma and let's hope they remove those monsters. 4 5

I currently own an Aussie Doodle and grew up with a Rottweiler, German Shepherd and Pit Bull. the most aggressive of my past dogs was the Rottweiler. These are not hypotheticals. These are events that happen in this country (US) daily. Negligent gun owners, negligent dog owners. One distinctly escapes consequences for lacking the responsibility. A poorly trained doodle might **** on the floor, a poorly trained pit bull/Rottweiler/German Shepherd might kill. 2

Go ahead though, you and @NewStanner can keep downvoting me and kii it up and laugh at a dog trying to attack somebody on their own property and minding their own business, but my point remains the same 1

I literally went into long details in the OP about how absolute trash the owners are, and how my mother has bent over backwards to play nice with them, even when their beastly dog attacked my cousins dog, on our property

OP lives society that does not incentivize any real responsibility of dangerous dog breed owners to properly control their pet and was almost mauled because of it. Present a real argument other than “bias1!!” or exit the thread. @NewStanner you too.

I don’t need sympathy, I’m sharing real life experience. Sis, it’s not my house. It’s my moms. I go there once every 2 weeks to cut her lawn. The dogs haven’t broke into our yard in a year until today. I feel like you are massively projecting. Take care of your animals and there’s be no need to be so defensive.

I've spoken on my experience of raising one along with other dogs yet you haven't spoken on anything close to relevant . you literally brought up a scenario that doesn't exist. I think the person who should leave is you... 2

How did I change my OP I’ve stuck with the same story. It dug out on their side of the fence in their yard. What am I supposed to do, not mow the lawn? It’s THEIR side of the fence that they need to fix. Not us. It’s not my moms job to pay thousands for a new fence when it’s their dogs that keep breaking into our yards.

shinyshimmery Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 (edited) Now im not saying I condone this... or wanting to give you any ideas... but you can google what should never be fed to dogs... because it is toxic to them... which could be fatal in most cases. Idc how much of an animal lover people are... either control your animal, or don't own one at all. I have a dog and he is my world, but I have trained him to not get out of line... and he is always leashed when we go on walks. Because I respect others!!!! I understand not everyone likes dogs... especially if they are traumatized by them. I don't know WHYYYY so many dog owners are so stupid irresponsible. Edited August 16, 2023 by shinyshimmery

You’re siding with my white trash neighbor just because she’s a pitbull owner when she wouldn’t even piss on you if you were on fire. And it broke out and attacked me in our front yard, it’s their backyard fence that’s messed up. No, it’s not my fault. At all.
