To be fair, like I said in my OP, the owners are legit awful. They do not give a **** even though we’ve had multiple times problems with their dog the past year and a half

Like I said, it became a problem, and they threw a bunch of stuff on my moms fence making it look all ghetto, and my mom told her she would let everything go if she just bought a new fence on her property, the neighbor said she was “too broke to do so” but then bought a new pool…

 

Anyway, I’m not doing this to drag pitbull owners or dogs, but this particular neighbor and her dog has continuously caused us issues, and today here I was, minding my own business and her dog got out under the fence and snapped at me and charged at me, it was the neighbors who seen it who decided to get the authorities involved, not me or my mom

Wouldn't have been me because after going through all the right channels and if nothing was done, I would take matters into my own hands. Slip some rat poison into some ground beef and let the dog enjoy it. Or perhaps lure the dog into your trunk with food and drive it miles away and drop him off in a wooded area.

 

Just throwing some ideas out there.

I'm sorry and I know people love to defend pitbulls on here, but I've never liked them. I think they're ugly  I'm sorry you got attacked babe!! that's scary and u didn't deserve it 

 

OT but if I were to get a dog, I'd get a calmer, cuter, friendlier dog like a scottie or a westie

I HATE pit bulls  Literally such an ugly and obnoxious dog. I’ve heard so many stories of people having horrible to dangerous encounters with them. They should either be banned or if someone wants to own one they need to be vetted to actually have the means to handle those dogs.

Yeah, my mom is that one that has to deal with these people since it’s her home and I don’t live in the same city, but she’s at her ends with these people, today sent her over the edge, her and my neighbor were about to throw hands

Thank you  it was one of the scariest moments I’ve had in quite awhile. I don’t trust other people’s dogs

Your neighbor should not be allowed to own dogs. No dog is inherently vicious which means that it got to be that way due to lack of training or through abuse.

Not surprised they're extremely dangerous animals that can be set off by the most random things. That's why they're banned in several places around the world and hopefully it will keep increasing

I loved and cared for many type of dogs: Labrador, Golden Retriever, Miniature Pinscher, Japanese Spitz, Mixed Breeds, Rottweiler, German Shepherd...

 

But a Pitbull is certainly a no-no for me, one tried to attack me while jogging unprovoked. If you can't handle it don't own it.

People who try to defend pitbulls just to be "morally correct" are braindead. I've been a victim of those rats, they killed my dog/soulmate and almost attacked my mom who's in her 60s. We weren't doing anything to provoke it. It's partially the owners fault but also the breed's behavior. Hope you're doing fine, try to report the incident so it can be put down

My neighbors who seen it called the cops, and a couple who was walking a baby talked to the cops. 
 

Dog won’t be put down since it wasn’t able to bite me, but they got hit with a hefty fine according to the cops

I know we love our dogs like they're our children and best friend but at the end of the day, they're still very much animals. And there are many animals that are intrinsically pernicious, as you know. You would never approach a lion, shark or grizzly bear thinking it's friendly. They're wild animals. Pit-bulls are not that much different. And there are some people who keep wild monkeys and bears as pets, only to have been attacked and killed by them, too. And there are many news articles that can be pulled. I'm not just pontificating this.

Also, most apartment complexes don't allow pit-bulls or breeds mixed with pit.
