A pit bull tried to attack me today

Recommended Posts

Today, I had the day off and went to my mothers house to cut her lawn.

Now, her new neighbor she’s had loads of problems with. She has 2 giant pit bulls, one who constantly was getting into her yard, and actually attacked 1 of my cousins dogs when she brought it over for the holidays last year. Her my mom constantly go at it, and my mother demanded something be done, so this lady threw a bunch of **** on my moms fence, making it look all ghetto and raggedy. My mom has been demanding she pay for a new fence, and this lady said “she’s too broke” but then proceeded to buy a new pool….

Anyway, today I was cutting my moms lawn, the annoying pits were barking at me, and the big one got out from underneath the fence and charged at me, doing everything it can to attack me, while I just swung my lawnmower at it. I fell down and was able to push the lawnmower at it, and then sprinted inside. My neighbor who seen everything called the police.

No, it was chasing me In circles, I used the lawnmower to defend myself. I fell down pushed it at the dog, it dodged it, but I was able to get up and run away

Pitbull owners are some of the most irresponsible, delusional, lazy slobs you'll ever meet.

I wouldn’t be that scared if it didn’t already bite my cousins dog last year, and it was literally snapping at me while chasing me in circles

No intelligent dog owner is just going to let their dogs roam unattended. Any bigger dog is a risk - your neighbor should be reported to your city. Do they have any ordinances about keeping dogs on leashes? If this is a continuous problem then you should definitely act.

Edit: didn't see you said they got out from under the fence. Still, maybe they should be reported to the city if their dogs are getting out and going after people. They need to secure their yard.

It sounds like a stereotype, but every pitbull owner I've ever met is like that :deadbanana4: The culprits are not the dogs, but the owners, who do not know how to raise them.

Of course it did. It's a Pitbull, it's what they do. @CaptainMusic was right when he said they should all be put down.

Now why are all Dogs in it, it’s Pitbulls who are the problem

This sadly isn’t surprising. I remember a few years ago I made a thread dragging Pitbulls and was dragged.

Glad to see people are slowly but surely seeing them and their irresponsible owners for what they are.

My mom has reported her when her dog got in her yard last year and but my cousins dog. Town says they can’t do anything unless it hurts a human

It’s funny how much the narrative has changed on ATRL over the years, there were only a few agreeing with me back then :toofunny3:

Though unfortunately some people in this thread still think it’s just the owners, sad.

In all seriousness, OP I hope you're ok but the pitbull drag threads on here are so common and I don't understand why :rip:
