Kh-Loud Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I drink too much caffein that I don’t feel **** anymore but the crash a few hours after consumption but I’m an addict, I can’t stop! 1
X~MoviePoP Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Yes after the initial rush and feeling good for 30 min i start feeling sad and anxiety comes in and i for some reason have to chug water to get it out of my system
byzantium Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 (edited) Yeah. For that reason I highly control how much caffeine I consume. I try not to have more than a cup of black tea or 1 expresso a day. Edited August 14, 2023 by byzantium 1
kimberly Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 I once got the largest size at Starbucks after pulling an all-nighter for some schoolwork, I thought I was gonna die that day
JungleJuice Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 No. I'm drinking some now at work but I still feel the edibles from last night
Marry The Gods Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Yeah I'm thinking about cutting down on my caffeine intake for this reason.
Ewan Chaos Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Not exactly, but coffee gives me the shakes I used to drink it too, in light doses at least, so I'm not sure what happened. Just a black tea in the morning if I'm tired and I'm good. Caffeine in other things like soda doesn't really affect me too much, thankfully.
Goaty Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 Yes. I only have it in preworkout before the gym and I have to be careful with how much I take. And if I have any after like 1 or 2pm I sleep terribly
Sparksfly88 Posted August 14, 2023 Posted August 14, 2023 6 hours ago, Revolution said: no i have ADHD so i love caffeine I feel like it makes my adderall feel more potent lol
DamianSolo Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Only if I drink black coffee. Energy drinks, or regular lattes and such, don't give me anxiety.
Pop Life Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 I'm an anxious person, that love the aroma and taste of coffee. I ended up just buying a coffee grinder and mixing half regular and half decaf beans together every morning.
zasderfght Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 No. But the Cymbalta probably helps with that.
spree Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 yes I had to quit caffeine all together recently. It's been getting progressively worse thru time. I actually have trained myself to enjoy decaf now. No cokes or iced teas or anything. I got anxiety from less than 1 cup of coffee, and heart racing too. I used to be very hardcore like trenta Starbucks iced coffee's, brew in the morning, sodas, etc. Not anymore. I'm fine, I'm much better. It's easier than you think to quit. I make decaf every morning now and I don't even think twice about it. Does apple juice do anything to you? Does water? Why does coffee have to "do something" to you? That's how I wrapped my mind around decaf and now i'm totally fine with it.
Gladiator Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 no. Although lately I've started to get some chest pain from all of the caffeine that I consume (I really drink a **** load of caffeine) and I have been trying to get myself off of it.
Komet Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 Not really, unless I drink 4 or more espressos in a row. Although the only time I feel caffeine gives me energy boost is rn during the summer when blood pressure drops due to the heat. The only other effect it has is if I were to drink it before sleep - I'll still be tired and sleepy, only now I won't be able to fall asleep so I don't get the point. Energy drinks are worse for me, my heart starts beating weird, idk how people drink those all the time. Although it's fine when I mix it with vodka lmao
gagacasanova Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 It Goes one of two ways for me... it does nothing or it's like someone just gave me crack.
