This is a little bit overdramatic.

I've seen many Selena's haters praising this song, for example. Everyone has different taste, I like a lot this one but I also like her break up/sad song. It's something different and I appreciate. 

The promo on social is embarassing, she's doing nothing. She doesn't care but her label does, in fact they're promoting on radio. 

 

Selenators should be smart and help this going viral on tiktok or something similar. Sometimes we lose the focus, for example I've seen some pages on twitter promoting LYLALS because it's gaining streams. It's ok but she has a new song out and other songs of her (like LYLALS) are already certified streaming hits.

It’s a shame that it’s doing so well on radio but terrible on streaming platforms  sales are fine tho.

 

but this always happens with her songs, when it does well on streaming it performs poorly on radio and viceversa. That’s why she doesn’t have a lot of big peaks because she should have more than ten top 10s by now, a lot of her biggest hits didn’t even reach it, so it proves that the timing with her is always wrong. Even CD could’ve reached #1 and didn’t because of that, only time it happened was with LYTM first week.

the fact that this happened the day it would for sure climb on Spotify. It gained SO MUCH traction on tiktok and stuff today cuz of the VMAs.

This is SO weird. When its copyright stuff its not like that, it stays visible but u can’t play it, “single soon” is MIA.

I kinda love this song. It is very far fetched but there is some bright synth melody during the “I’ll be single soon, I’ll be single soon” part that sound very early 10s Passion Pit/M83 behind all the pop noise. That is what clicks for me.
