Revolution Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I destroyed half of my SVs with a hammer and use the other half as a coffee cup rest. 1 1
Rider Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Still using them Good for her for re recording but Imma still use the originals 1 1

bjorn Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 If you’ve already purchased it why destroy it? It’s still Taylor’s work, songs, vocals, production etc. 3
Revolution Posted August 11, 2023 Author Posted August 11, 2023 Just now, bjorn said: If you’ve already purchased it why destroy it? It’s still Taylor’s work, songs, vocals, production etc. I only respect the TVs. 1

Klein Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 (edited) I don't have physicals of any Stolen Version. As for streaming, I basically create a playlist in which I keep whatever track I prefer between OG and TV, and keep the TV by default if I don't have a preference. So far I kept nothing from Fearless, WANEGBT/IKYWT/22 from Red and Mean from Speak Now. Edited August 11, 2023 by Klein
Holy Ground Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I don't stream them but I'm not gonna throw out my physical copies Also it's a pet peeve of mine whenever a Swiftie calls them Scooter's Versions as if its not the art she spent a countless number of hours creating, like it's still her music just not in a legal sense 4
Rep2000 Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 The only "Scooter's version" is the streaming or purchases right now. I got them when it was not Scoot's. 1
Alldeezy Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I sometimes play original verisons if I have my liked songs on shuffle but as I'm making my monthly hit playlist I am using the TS verisons
Into The Void Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 (edited) If an artist recorded it its still their music even if they don't own it. Most of my faves don't legally own their music and I won't not buy or stream because its the labels Edit: Scooter doesn't even own her masters anymore anyway Edited August 11, 2023 by Insanity
PopKills Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 Don’t have any physical albums of hers but I still only stream the original versions of the albums.
Schami66 Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I deleted the OG Fearless and Speak Now, because I really the TVs are better. Her voice improved a lot. With Red I have both versions, because (Let's be honest) whoever was responsible for the production of the pure pop tracks really ****** up. 22, I Knew You Were Trouble and Starlight are okay/cute but WANEGBT(Like Ever) is bad

There is a lot of "fun" little sparks from the original missing Speak now is such an emotional album vocally, that's what is missing the most for me on TV. The original Enchanted is superior, the emotion is severely lacking on Last Kiss - RIP shakey breath Wildest Dreams and This Love are extremely elevated for me so I'm not that afraid of errors on 1989 TV OT: I don't use the original versions once taylor's versions have been released - even though I would love to stream 22 & Enchanted originals
Selegend Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 it's nice to have the stolen version physically or bought on itunes so you can listen to it to compare or to remember if u want without giving money no scooter since u wouldn't be streaming it. But for me, Taylor didn't manage to keep the magic only on the Red singles (all of them, idk what happened -- but it's just the singles) and on Better Than Revenge (and not only because of the lyrics), but despite from that everything Taylor Version is equally good or even better than the original.
JungleJuice Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I have her music pirated on some drive but I lost interest in her and don't listen to her anymore
Bussea Posted August 11, 2023 Posted August 11, 2023 I still listen to them the same way I listen to the TV versions. Hell, I still prefer some of the OGs to the TVs
