Hi-res Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 I was at the park the other day, sitting on the bench and I asked myself this same question. Here we are, existing—all going through trials and tribulations. Earth is truly a strange place once you step back and take a look around you. Why are we all here? Is there a reason? Maybe. But who knows for sure. Just continue to be the best person that you can be, and take care of others around you. 1
slimfem Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 Pretty confident there isn't any purpose to life. Every time I start to spiral or overthink I just remind myself that freaking out is not going to change one thing, that life is short and I may as well not obsess over death or whatnot because again, it wont change anything. As I get older I try to cherish special moments more and more. I try not live in complete nihilism, as it's off-putting to others usually and can be overly depressing. Optimistic nihilism is where it's at lol. Hope you find some peace and solace. 1

hideaway616 Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 My advice to you as an older man (34 years old), not like I know may things about life but I did had been through some struggles in my life. No one would be able to find all the answers at once, it is a time-to-time work to find answers yourself. And when you don't have the answers yet, just go on your day and keep your consistency. The world is what it is but most importantly is your approach to it. Yes, there are many problems and questions around the world, but we need to learn how to pull ourselves out of all that sometimes, don't look too deep in everything. Remember, your peace is your fortune after all. 1

JayG Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 (edited) Do you have a talent? THATS why you're here. I'm a designer, I LOVE IT. Truly something I absolutely love, just as much as music (DJ'ing, producing etc). Fine meaning in the things you're amazingly good at, and in LOVE. Love of yourself, love with others and loving things you do. Edited August 9, 2023 by JayG 1
Outlaws Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 I've been having this kind of existencial crisis for some time now. For some reason it's making me very anxious, it's making me think and overthink, it's making me question wether life makes sense at all or not, like... I refuse to believe there's nothing more beyond life. It got a bit worse after watching "A Trip To Infinity" on Netflix but it was beautiful. Still, there's so many things I don't get and I probably never will. Ugh 1

Rotunda Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 We come to this place… for magic. We come to earth to laugh, to cry, to care. Because we need that, all of us, that indescribable feeling we get when the day begins; And we go somewhere we've never been before; not just entertained, but somehow reborn. Together. Dazzling images. Sound that I can feel. Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place likе this. Our heroes feel like thе best part of us, and stories feel perfect and powerful. Because here, they are. 1
Cain Posted August 9, 2023 Posted August 9, 2023 We are truthfully here to experience joy, partnership, communion, play, nature, sunlight, water, weather, experience life through emotions and experiences Sadly all of us were born in a system where those sensations get blocked by mandatory conformity to the state, big companies and an economic system which forces us to spend most of our lives working made up jobs behind screens so that the 5 men who rule this planet can amass even more wealth than they already have, and this system is also ruining the habitability of our planet, so 1
