  1. 1. Which one are you picking?

    • 50k for one day a week! My free time is worth it
    • 100k for 2 days per week - reverse weekends and weekdays!
    • 150k for 3 days per week - a 4 day weekend sounds amazing
    • 200k for 4 days - I'd take a 3 day weekend!
    • 250k for 5 days - money money money!

Poll: Hypothetically, let's say you can choose between the following options of post-tax income:

$50,000 - 1 day per week

$100k - 2 days per week

$150k - 3 days per week

$200k - 4 days per week
$250k - 5 days per week

Which one are you picking (assuming each day is a 7.5 hour shift?

200k 4 days

No one needs too much time off working. Its literally not good for you to be inactive.

3 days off are a dream and the salary is perfect

I mean I work 6 days a week now. So working 5 days for 250k ain’t a sweat

which day are you taking off? Wednesday or Friday?

Wednesday would mean never working more than 2 days in a row but Friday means 3 day weekends every week

150K per week for only working 3 days a week? Hell yeah! Life is all about enjoyment and you can't take your riches when you die. 150k per week is much more than enough for me and for anyone else plus I got to enjoy my 4 days off. :smitten:

This greatly depends on the job.

if it’s a normal white collar office job you can do 5 days 250k.

if you are a nurse, teacher, police officer, doctor etc then 3 day work week is a dream and get paid $150k a year is perfect.

The title is so funny because you pretty much described my career progression.

I used to make roughly $152K (after bonus) a year working at a retailer. It was stress free and I pretty much never work on Fridays. On my actual work days, I just do the bare minimum to drive impact to business.

I felt like I was becoming too complacent and wasn't growing. So I decided to leave that job after 1 1/2 years to work for a Tech company for a higher role. I'm currently making ~235K after everything and I hate my life :)

But the money is good so I'm rich crying I guess? (even though 200K isn't anything to brag about nowadays :noparty:)

150K is enough for me. I really don't need that much money. I need peace of mind and time to keep up with my fave on forums and social media.

With most of these you can have a lavish life even in Europe :ahh:

OT : 150k for 3 days sounds best

I know salaries work differently stateside… but £50k a year in the U.K. is generally considered very decent…

I would be VERY happy to earn £100k a year and to have 5 days off. There’s nothing more valuable on planet Earth than time… and having a salary like that would allow me to live pretty comfortably.

50k and work 1 day EASILY

That way I could then almost fully commit to my hobbies/side hustles like youtube :cm:

4 days is the dream

200K and 4 days work, with a day off in Wednesday seems like a perfect job

I’d take the work 3 days for 150k. That’s $12500 a month. Marry a millionaire who works 5 days a week, and life is good. :cm:
