Miss Show Business Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 See an endocrinologist. There are many reasons you can have low t and an endocrine specialist will know what direction to take you. Don't try supplements or anything "holistic"... stick to evidence based medicine. See your doctor and ask them to recommend you an endocrinologist.

Your dose is pretty high so that's probably a big factor in any sexual dysfunction you may be having. I know there's medications that can be added to help with that or you may want to ask your doctor about an alternative anti-depressant that doesn't usually cause those issues. Wellbutrin is one of them. If you've already tried those, I would definitely still look into zinc because it can absolutely help with testosterone & ejaculatory issues, but everyone is different. Wellbutrin gave me High Blood Pressure and I only took it for a month.😒 I’ve been off it for about a week now and my #s are still uncomfortably high. Ugh. Stay away from psych medication if you can, honestly. Unless you REALLY need it. Theres ALWAYS an unwanted side effect. 1

I’ve been thinking about taking that lately since they say it’s useful for muscle mass They're safe to take but be careful with the dosage. Zinc depletes copper if taken in excess and that can cause a whole other mess of symptoms.
Meev Posted August 5, 2023 Posted August 5, 2023 Is your diet ok? When I was doing intense weight loss and exercising and cutting my diet, I had very low testosterone as well.

Supplements, "holistic", "alternative medicine" etc, is all snake oil. "It works for me" is not good enough evidence to compare it to western medicine. You're wasting time and money if you're just buying into things that aren't even proven to work, and likely only lining grifters pockets in the process.
Tsuko Posted August 7, 2023 Posted August 7, 2023 There is nothing wrong with holistic treatments. The only reason they are discouraged is because the pharmaceutical companies lose money the more people go that direction. They're not discrediting holistic treatments because "they love us" and "want us to be healthy". They want us to be ill and they want us to pay for their treatments. Also, you can use BOTH Western medicine AND esoteric means to get better. Why are crazy people insisting it can only be one or the other? There's a lot more nuance to the world that black and white. You can dabble in both if you want to, that's what most people do. You can use things like the placebo effect, biofeedback, meditation, etc, to alter your hormone levels. Those things are free so obviously the pharmaceutical companies are never going to advise it to any of their patients over their newest drug they're trying to sell, we live in capitalism.
