Y'all shouldn't be naked at pride, nobody wants to see that, there are other ways of fighting for your rights than showing your genitals to strangers on the street

it honestly shocks me how condoms have become a relic of the past for gayz... as if other STDs don't exist. I've noticed when I hook up with men who typically hook up with women they're way more likely to use condoms than guys who exclusively only sleep with other men. I feel like it this area the community has gone backwards. yes, prep is great but u still need to protect yourself.

this… like i haven’t been on grindr in a few years (and i’m sure it’s gotten even worse since then) but when i still did there was like what… 1 guy out of 10 willing to wear a condom, it’s honestly frightening. i’m definitely never opening that icky app again, between all the meth heads, the nut jobs, the fake profiles and the "i can’t wear condoms for *insert made up reason*" yeah no thanks :rip:

maybe some of them will learn how to use a condom again in addition to prep once it’s time to get the anal warts surgically removed or they catch drug resistant gonorrhea :coffee2:

Not the worst thing the bisexuals have to deal with is people assuming their straight while gay men and lesbian women deals with actual material violence.

OT: Alot of y'all grew up to be the bullies you resented for bullying you.

Do you think a homophobic person is going to ask a man holding hands with another man if he is gay or bisexual before hate crime-ing him? The material reality of same-sex relationships and outward displays of such does not qualify the degree of where someone falls on the Kinsey Scale :ace:

And your added “OT” is so deeply ironic given your above statement and your likes in this thread :deadbanana4:

I don't care. Erasure isnt violence and hypervisibility isn't a privilege.

your obsession with bulking up and looking like you are in your mid-20s is so weird and ****** up.

I never understood this at all... I tried to lift for 3 months and the amount of CHEMICALS that are promoted to you to ingest to gain muscle is RIDICULOUS. Body builders literally have heart attacks over this **** :skull:

Making fun of gay people won’t make you any more straight. :michael:

There are truly many great guys out there. If you're going years being and complaining about being single, the problem is most likely you and not those around you. Stop chasing this unattainable dream guy of perfection because, unfortunately, that guy probably won't even be interested in you and will be chasing their own perception of perfection. :lakitu:

Just because you’re gay it doesn’t give you a free pass to be misogynistic.

"Popular Culture" is more than just pop music and the "indie darlings;" there is more music outside of that realm and not many people besides obsessive fans in real life actually is aware what "acheivements" are(Hot 100 #1's, sales, etc...).

People thinking you’re straight isn't violence.

People attacking you for being attracted to the same sex is violence. Guess what that includes: bisexual individuals :cm:

That one user is phrasing it tragically but there's a point.

Bisexual people not only make the biggest part of the LGBT community they're also the most privileged/least opressed as well.

You’re not actually a Republican. I promise.

I'm bisexual but i've been hate crime'd on a public street holding hands w my same sex partner.

I also acknowledge that it's easier for me to "pass" in straight settings- that is until they know i'm bi, then women and gays loudly voice their displeasure.

That also means I have to come out over and over again (and face the consequences, whatever those may be) at work, in social settings, at parties.

It's constant coming out, it never stops.

Many things can be true at the same time.

The reason gay men are so hypersexual is because they think it’s the only way to seek Validation from society. Which is why they always just after straight men :giraffe:

The LGBT community is not a sacred cow immune from criticism and it's very frustrating to see people shut down conversations that make them uncomfortable with thought-terminating clichés, such as labelling you a conservative pick-me, desperate for straight approval etc. because they can't square with the fact that not all such criticism is regurgitated right-wing propaganda.

Gays aren't obligated to validate bisexuals every hour of the day and cracking a few jokes here and there isn't "biphobia". Growing up visibly gay vs growing up bisexual are two very different worlds.

Playing up one's masculinity/femininity to the point it becomes a caricature is very off-putting, sorry.

Drug abuse and promiscuity are a huge issue in the community but scoffing and sneering at people who partake in these behaviors isn't helpful.

You do not own women. You are still extremely capable of misogyny and you're not entitled to any women, especially you're faves. Don't act like you're not privileged when it comes to gender issues.

Gay men being creepy towards men is just as bad as when straight men are creepy towards women
