Most straight men don't respect us, and putting them on a pedestal just for being straight is moronic. 

 

Most of them will treat us like we're beneath them; we need to treat them the same way.

I’m sure this doesn’t apply for everyone, but some people need to learn that there’s no “right” way to be gay. Everyone has their own approach to life.

When I moved to London, one of my Uni friends told me… when you’re a gay man in a city, if you aren’t attractive, wealthy, well connected or sociable, you’re in for an incredibly harsh ride with the fellow community.

 

Being a chubby introvert from the country… I found this to be very, very true.
