Based on their expectations, it seems like this is fine?  My only problem with it is that it’s impossible to be anon on Threads unless you have an anon IG account, which most people don’t have.

I see why its boring but I actually prefer it to the current day shitshow that is Instagram, **** used to be so fun and Mark completely killed it and made it a mini-FB....

X "rebrand" was mere logo changing and minor feature add. Not comparable.

like i care? the app was launched EMPTY. people i follow not appearing on the timeline, no search feature, no trending topics, no hashtags, unfinished profile page, no dm... it's been an entire month now and still no new features and they've been teasing the app for a while before launch so it's not my problem if they cannot deliver and meet the expectations

it doesn't change the fact that they're moving way faster than threads with the new features (communities feature, audio and video calls incoming, creator payment, bookmark feature etc...)
