I couldn't give less of a **** about that, but I would see it to begin - mostly due to curiosity of what they have decided to do to translate it to a movie, with so the answer is yes.

Ariana is literally the only casting that people have had a negative reaction to and even then, as you said, people have come around after hearing the leaks of her studio vocals. The reaction to the rest of the casting has been positive.

and Cynthia. the day of the announcement everyone was melting down, but just like with the Ariana set pics, the leaked recording of her singing Defying Gravity turned things around a bit for her too.

There were some people not thrilled with Cynthia's casting, but on the whole, the reaction was positive. She's a beloved theatre actress who absolutely has the pipes and vocals for the role. I think she will be magnificent and I'm 100% down with Ariana surprising everyone.

Nah. I saw the Broadway show and if it really is a 1 to 1 recreation then 

 

The first half is basically Wednesday Netflix show and the second half...exists.

I’m hoping it’s because they’re infusing the book into it more.
