Do you think YOU could make money off NPC streams?

An NPC is a Non Playable Character in a videogame, characterized usually by their limited behaviour pertaining to specific interactions and prompts with the player, and repeated/looped dialogue/behaviour as a consequence of said interactions.

Because we live in the sixth circle of hell, in the year 2023, pretending to be an NPC online on live streams is a way to make thousands of dollars PER DAY.

(Timestamped to see what it looks like, the video is pretty funny too.)

The central premise is that people just POUR money (in the form of gifts, i.e. specific emojis that you see popping up) and the WannabeNPC reacts to it identically for....HOURS :deadbanana2:

Could you do it? Could you say "oo Icy Kream so good ;)" 230 times in an hour, if it mean making $4,000 off it? :deadbanana2:

I couldn't. Like. I am probably about to go into debt for my education, and idk if I can pay for that. With that said, I am tall, have broad shoulders/semblance of biceps and pecs, and plenty of mental illnesses. Mayhaps it's time to get on a live stream.

I don't know the exact mechanics of it, but I assume creators have their bank accounts linked to the platform.

The emoji/gifts cost the user money to tip - so like, a rose emoji for $2 or something.

I could be wrong though dd

And do you think you can produce pineapples from a vacuum cleaner?

And who are people that are giving those money to them? NPC enthusiasts?
