July 2023 will explode all records,” lamented Antonio Guterres, as the World Meteorological Organization and the European service Copernicus announce that July will be the hottest month ever observed.

"The era of global warming has ended and “the era of global boiling has arrived”, the UN secretary general, António Guterres, has said after scientists confirmed July was on track to be the world’s hottest month on record.

"Climate change is here. It is terrifying. And it is just the beginning,” Guterres said. “It is still possible to limit global temperature rise to 1.5C [above pre-industrial levels], and avoid the very worst of climate change. But only with dramatic, immediate climate action.”" :cries:

I'm so scared, in my city the heat is HORRIBLE. My family is having a hard time coping with this heat. And some people i know almost fainted several times because of it. :cries:

This will lead to disastrous famines and droughts, millions will die. I wish I owned property and had the space to dabble into homesteading.

And yet people will still act like it’s not concerning. It’s so wild how many people don’t get what’s going to happen. Famines, droughts, mass migration - I guess it’s all just conjecture to most people until it actually happens and they’re impacted.

Those of us under 30 or so are likely going to live to see some truly horrible consequences of climate apathy.

Weren’t people happy to see that? I’ve seen so many people talk about how the population is too high and we need a disaster to decrease the amount of people.

however property won’t mean much if it’s near the water. Sea levels are also rising.

New York State is now classified as SUB TROPICAL, east coast will become like Florida. West coast will be partially underwater. The south will legit be uninhabitable.

Buying a home in somewhere like Wisconsin seems to be the best decision you could do these days.
