She has several songs pulling 500k+ daily including Last Friday Night that's nearing the 1M/day

 

And iirc Gaga heavily promoted Bloody Mary earlier this year (tik tok, sent to radios, huge playlisting.. etc)

This is monthly listeners. Not daily or monthly streams. Unique listeners doesn’t translate to streams and obviously Lana and several others with fewer listeners are still outstreaming Katy (Gaga probably is too).

HEAVILY PROMOTED??? Hell no. No music video, no performance, no interviews...her label sent the song to radio and got it playlisted because of Wednesday. Lots of songs go viral on TikTok, it's happened to Katy too.

I just listened to her one of the boys album for the very first time recently. I was surprised at how pop rock heavy it was. She needs to go back to that genre it suits her very well. That sound is making a comeback too. I also had no idea she had so many self written songs. Taylor who? It’s time to put respect on Katy’s name again.

Monthly listeners is just unique listeners a month, not actual streams. Lana and Gaga are still ahead of her, and Lana by a lot, in daily total streams.

Omg the lies and the shade. Gaga didn’t “heavily promote” Bloody Mary, that was a completely fan made video that went crazy viral and Gaga acknowledged it with one TikTok video doing the dance. I mean I love Katy too but don’t stoop to fake drags about Gaga

LMAO this monthly listeners thing is such a scam by Spotify.  When you look at that list you might actually thing Taylor is just barely leading when in fact she's the only one whose actual streams match the monthly listeners numbers. Nobody else other than Lana is even above 20M daily streams.

no you just don't understand how it works, if i listen to just ONE song by Lana on July 26th and never again, I will still be counted as Lana's one monthly listener until a month later (August 26th)
