Beyonnaise Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Cruel Summer definitely haunts Olivia in the middle of the night 2

BlackoutZone Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 No, Vampire is literally exhausting to go through. Cruel Summer is ear candy
ForgottenSoul Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Oliva is a new artist while Taylor is at her peak? So Not really.

TheArgonaut Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 Poor Olivia, I really thought she was coming back with a Drivers License kind of hit
4Real Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 3 hours ago, ForgottenSoul said: Oliva is a new artist while Taylor is at her peak? So Not really. Taylor's 16 years into her career while this is Olivia's sophomore era after a smash breakout 1

This idea that an older artist so far into her career would have a commercial advantage over a new breakthrough star is absurd, that's not how it works.

1989 Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 I love both songs. The constant need to pit these two together is so strange, considering one is literally 17 years into her career and one of the biggest artists ever, and the other is essentially still brand new (but has so far made quite the name for herself). I’m a Taylor stan, but I also really like Olivia. I hope both songs continue to succeed. 1
georgechxng Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 the way this already backfired congrats on outstreaming olivia for 2 days tho, i guess?
Filpo Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 (edited) And this is why making this kind of threads, obsessing over DAILY charts and expecting to draw any truth from it, can't bring you anywhere, kids. Edited July 25, 2023 by Filpo
liquiddiamonds Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Olivia fans didn’t even bother since it’s known by everyone there that Vampire loses steam during weekends, whereas uptempo music soars. Then it’s weekdays again and it’s back to its plateau. It just looks bad on some Swifities that want Taylor to finish someone 10 years younger so bad lol
BuzzCharts Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 No it’s not surprising it was the weekend. Vampire back above it now during the week.
By the Water Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 People not realizing that with vampire trending downwards this will become a regular occurrence Vampire was 120k ahead last Monday and only 5k ahead today
Kill Me Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Are the olivia fans really bumping this tired thread over a 5k difference as if CS is not going to keep outstreaming from here on out till eternity?

The only ones tracking this are obsessed Swifties 2
Starchild Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 This is going #9 compared to CS #7 next week on BB, the back and forth is going to be a regular occurrence so the worms for brains from both sides can stop trying to keep comparing them. What even is this comparison anyway? One song is a 2019 song that gained traction on it's own by a veteran and one is a lead single that's holding on extremely well from someone is their sophomore era. What's the correlation? 1
unclefloprry Posted July 25, 2023 Posted July 25, 2023 Cruel Summer, aka "the most played song on TTH playlist", did that.
