Poxy Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Yes, read king Static’s current comic while y’all at it!
Chiidish Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Unless it’s animated no one will be watching. They actually have fantastic animated content so if they really wanted to copy something Marvel does and succeed or exceed them they should aim for Static having an animated renaissance like Miles did (yes static already had a show but there’s zero need or want for a live action right now)

loveisdead9582 Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 … this was from last year before the buyout was done. It wouldn’t surprise me if the project was scrapped.
Robert Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 If they can make it as good as the animated series then yes.
HausofNick Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Aside from Matt Reeves' Batman and Todd Phillips' Joker, DC is in complete shambles.
DamianSolo Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Not at all, especially if Blue Beetle isn't doing anything. I'm look forward to anything from DC, since I'm a fanboy—but even I know how dire of a situation their live-action universe is in. The Batman Part II will be successful, as well as Joker: Folie à Deux, but if Superman: Legacy flops they may as well just cancel the DCU. Really, though, Warner Bros. is just letting Blue Beetle underperform. James Gunn wants to make it part of his universe; WB should have been marketing this as the start of a new universe, instead they're just ignoring it. Marketing and presentation is everything. I wish Warner Bros. would just sell DC Comics to Disney, or some other company—that's not Universal.
