DamianSolo Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 It makes sense, it's common for actors and actresses to engage in method acting—especially for such a role. I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with the character of Harley Quinn. As a DC Comics fan, I admire her passion. This does make me like her even more than I already did.

Edit0rz Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Joaquin Phoenix is a method actor, as are AL Pachino and Jared Leto…it would only be normal for Gaga to do the same considering those are the tools students are taught in most acting schools. I hate how an actor being method is seen as taking the role seriously but if a woman does it then it’s AnNoYiNg and pretentious. 2

Americans tend to buy into it much more compared with British actors.
Raptus Posted July 22, 2023 Posted July 22, 2023 Imagine having to deal/work with method actor for months. The cringe and annoyance you would feel
