because the song has two versions (clean and explicit) and Spotify considers it to be the same song.

I literally had to Google this to see if it was true... just saw the song came out on Friday and since then I never heard anything about it xD

 

Didnt see anything on my TL, none of my family members or friends said or posted anything about it (having friends or contacts on IG from literally all over the world since I was cabin crew for 10 years)

 

Literally their fans are the only ones listening to it I guess

This song has two versions that are being mass streamed and the streams are being  combined  because it's not against the rule to combine Clean and Explicit versions.

 

Before that, spotify also combined another BTS member's song that went No.1 on Spotify but it dropped out of top 15 the next day because combining English and Korean version is against the rules. Obviously they learned from that.
