How interesting, I didn't realize they had released this data twice before already.  Kinda cool to get come confirmation that TTH's influence seems to be waning (seeing how the amount of streams generated from the playlist in a two year period has dropped from 7.3B in 2019 - 2021 to 6.7B in 2021 - 2023 despite the overall platform growing in that same time), which a lot of people have been thinking for a while now.

 

I also find it odd they listed in 2021 that there were over 1.4B hours streamed from the playlist and yet yesterday's update listed 1B+ hours played...how does that make any sense?

It's funny how people act like there's no skip button on Spotify  If their SINGLES are the most consumed on the platform, it's because people love them. That's why artists like Dua Lipa are coming for another 3 songs with 2B while other TTHs residents can't even reach 1B of streams putting songs on the chart every 3 months or putting songs from 5 years ago

yep they released something in 2021, because I remember people tried to drag Levitating for being one of the most consumed songs on the list, only for Spotify to reveal that -10% of its total streams came from TTH

I'd like to see their data on the most skipped songs.

 

Do people realize that this is only a drag if it doesn't work, right? Like yall can drag Khalid (or from the previous years Camila), but Dua has the top2 female albums.
