As they should. These are literally old ass songs.

It's the same song with no changes at all. It's what Billboard should've done as well.

That's your opinion, however I'm asking why the Canadian BILLBOARD makes this distinction and not in the US

That's the logical way. TVs are just refreshed versions. Just like remixes. Karma solo and feat Ice Spice don't have two different peaks and different chart runs but combined so i'm not sure why literally the same song recorded literally the same way in 2010 and 2023 should have different runs? Looks like Canada used the brains.

UGH @ #1

I should’ve given Calm Down some streams and a sale.

Posted

Canadians, stream Calm Down to give it its 10th week at #1 and take away a week to that other song

Super impressive the longevity and success LN is having.

Billboard is treating them as new entries on the Canadian Hot 100. Acharts just isn't displaying them as such on their site. Acharts is also showing them as re-entries on their 'US Singles Top 100' which is sourced directly from the Hot 100 (where we know they show as new).

Yup it's projected to be top 50 year end

Even Never Gonna Not Dance Again charted for 20 weeks and peaked at #29, and will likely make top 75 year end

We love ha!

OP's source is acharts.co and they didn't make the distinction for the new versions for US either
