I'm bopping a bit :jamming: the video is cool. I really doubt this will be a hit though :emofish:

I love this. A chill summer bop

She gonna change her artworks back? The hot pink with the red filter is low-key awful

This is an aggressive BOP! Way better than Attention IMO and the video is visually impressive.

Might be among the best music videos released this year.

the music video is just too much. what is the reason for this blasphemy and satanic imagery? just feels so forced and die hard for controversy atp. the video will fail to get montero (cmbyn) type of controversy if that was what she wanted to chase.

this is oh so ironic coming from a Katy stan (who i love but come on) i must say

Great song and definitely an improvement after Attention. But this doesn't scream HIT imo.  And I don't think she can afford another flop right now :katie:

so this was the groundbreaking departure from her previous sound? :rip:

she’ll always be leagues above the other girls creatively and visually no matter what criticism you can pull out of your ass. :clap3:

Who’s been doing it like her since Planet Her? :jonnycat:

It's really not it's not even different from female rap :rip:

This is fantastic. Fresh and unique and has replay value. If you like Kiss Me More better than this it says a lot about U.

I feel like she is fine? :rip: Radio will support this and make it a moderate hit. She doesn’t need a Top 5 hit, there is no major producer on this and the budget doesn’t appear to be through the roof.

Does anyone know how many albums are left in her contract

it's her 4th album, everyboyd knows here name she's making music since 2012
i think it's ok for her to ignore commercial aspect I know in the future she will have another hit

Right? As if she can’t have an era where she makes a point and takes back the narrative a little without bouncing back. She’s gonna be fine.

I think it's not different from her previous stuff but I find it REALLY different from female rap. She's more melodic. Her songs are cacthier and memorable.

Her delivery and vocal take is STILL what makes her stand-out. It may be less "gimmicky" than in the previous eras (therefore less immediate), but she's still incredibly strong in that aspect.

She doubles down on it in this song. The single really has a narrative like other huge rap acts do, I don’t believe she’s ever gone this deep into that kind of world yet, so she’s doing what she set out to do.

everyone forgetting she already confirmed there’s new genres she’s experimenting with on the album and different “energies” on different songs. let’s hold our breath

Nicki already did that kind of melodic rap. TBH she keeps screaming my new new music will be different and groundbreaking but so far it hasn't been

This. Planet Her strongest tracks are the album tracks, definitely not Say So 2.0, The Flopnd feature or the Kim Petras From the Vault reject (even though I still adore Need to Know to death).

Anyway, is the album confirmed to be titled First of All? I liked Hellmouth or even Feral as it says on her shirt in the video more.

All she said is that she’s doing what she feels like doing instead of recording songs meant to be hits— I assume when she says this she means Kiss Me More, You Right, Say So type of songs.

We don't want her to be different and groundbreaking. We want her to be the Doja Cat we grew to love. We want her to be consistent. I love Need To Know, Woman and You Right. I don't want her to completely depart from that sound.
