Christmas in July? Thoughts

It’s not a big celebration but Xmas in July is a thing globally 

 

not celebrating it but I do listen to Xmas music in July for some reason 

 

I blame that Cartoon Network holiday marathon they used used to do every July

I tried to do it, but the summer heat just ruins it. I just can't get into the spirit of Christmas during the summer at all, no matter how many carols I listen to or movies I watch. It just doesn't feel right.

I'd assume the countries celebrating it in July are the ones whose climate is the opposite of Western countries? (Hot in December, cold in July, etc.)

A fat man in an ill  fitting suit sitting for almost 24 hours. I would assume the smell would be a mess either way

Australia has some winter festivals that do give Xmassy vibes tbf but you do you. I loved all the Cartoon Network holiday specials especially the Powerpuff Girls one.

Yeah I listen to christmas songs all year round, a good song doesn't stop being good outside of december
