These miserable damn gays 😂 he was doing too much, but yes they even have hotlines for Japanese people who go to Paris and become disillusioned by the reality versus their expectations. It’s kinda crazy.

Paris is beautiful. I went there on winter and still fascinated by the Eiffel tower and the street culture.

The 2 things that I don’t like are the scammers targeting tourists ( I’ve been scammed twice) and the old metro without ramps and elevators.

I’m going to Paris soon. What kind of scams were they? :dancehall:

Just do research about these scammers. They're everywhere. That was my mistake. No doubt people in Paris are snobs. When someone approach you, just ignore lol.

The first one are young girls in Eiffiel Tower and Sacre Coeur and train stations approaching you  to sign something for a cause(usually for the kids or disabled). Then they're gonna ask you for money (20 euros).

The second one is at the bottom of Sacre Coeur at Montmarte where men are blocking your way and try to talk to you then give you bracelets. When you don't give them money, more men will come and surround you. This happened to me, I tried to avoid the man at first because I know it's a scam and he used the race card on me. He shouted " Why are you ignoring me, are you afraid of a black man? Racist!" That's why I was forced to approach him and he gave me a bracelets. I then said I have no more cash and 4 other men surrounded me and took the money on my wallet.......

Wow he did not lie, that much. But he is ignorant. I love Paris and there is a lot to do there, you just have to get to know the city

He didn’t go to any museums?

Architecture sight seeing?

Gardens?

Wine tasting?

Biking tours?

Bakeries?

All I see is walking around the Eiffel Tower…

Tell me you’re on a low budget without telling me you’re on a low budget

Apparently this is his take after moving there from America and actually living there for some time.

I've been to Paris like 4 or 5 times now, mainly on business trips and he must be joking, there's plenty of stuff to do and the food is amazing. I can honestly see why it might be ugly to some people and Parisians do come off rude from time to time, that I must agree with. Paris is not my favorite European city (Madrid ), but there's no reason for such harsh critiques. And the Middle East comment was awful.

"it was actually like a horror movie to see" :ahh:

saying paris is ugly by showing shots of random highway/outskirt and close ups on the base of the eiffel tower lol. parisian architecture is objectively beautiful, point blank. and it's a great, lively city generally that's endlessly explorable. i know he's just trolling for attention but i guess it worked on me.

That’s a different way to spell LONDON.

He could have just said he's staying at a 1 euro per night hostel 40 minutes outside the city center so we can move on.  Most of Paris is objectively more beautiful than any US city and dare I say some of the "cleanest" European city.  I could easily make the same video about suburbs and outer areas of Zurich, Genève, and Vienna.  :rip:

I just came back from a weekend there and it was amazing, people do too much on this city. The way I thought I'd get robbed and that nobody speaks English there:skull: Only thing I didn't like is the stupid metro tickets that you have to get everytime even if it's just one stop and people starring in the trains like wtf is their problem. Oh and there's barely any AC but that's all of Western Europe I guess :rip:

Just say no to everyone trying to sell you smh and get a cross body bag so nothing gets snatched from your pockets in crowded area. But honestly it's not even that bad, I didn't see any pickpockets. I saw this American girl on tiktok saying she got her phone stolen 3 times in Paris but like she must have been really dumb or oblivious cause... Also you don't have to carry any cash you can pay with card everywhere.

To go to Paris and only see ugly you have to be doing it on purpose. It's a gorgeous city. But I do agree France has prettier cities.

The way i innocently signed one of their things at first for "Deaf children" then they asked for a donation and I was like "Oh I don't have cash sorry" and they SNATCHED it out of my hands and scowled at me :deadbanana2:

He’s very right the only place I enjoy abroad is Hawaii and even that is American :bibliahh: Paris was trash!

all of europe is like that... everyone knows that

I kinda love critiquing western, christian Europe.

I can't wait until I never have to learn about the Renaissance in an art history class unless its a specified course.

There are so many other historically and culturally rich places in this world to highlight.

Anyway I see nothing wrong with casually or dramatically portraying Paris how any city in any country of all of Africa is. Lets level the paying field.

Paris is overrated and overhyped by people with no taste. People could make the same criticisms of New York, London and most major cities though, like being offended by graffiti… where are they from :rip:

Also, acting like people are all going to be romantic and just swarm after you sitting by yourself in a club is delusional main character energy.
