Scars Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Flowers at #1 on every metric, but some users here had the nerve to say it's success is radio-fueled.

Armani? Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 Some of these seem wrong No Role Modelz is J. Cole's top recurrent song anyway 1
allforyou Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 I'm honestly shocked that Bloody Mary is there Here for Gaga having a solo hit 15 years in though

Machete Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 This is counting YT reels as video streams which makes it such a joke. They don't count for certifcations nor Billboard. Last year's video top 10 had tons of unknown songs too due to this.
pride4jc1222 Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 I find it messed up how UGC streams don’t count towards RIAA certifications, but all these mass bought K-Pop singles and albums count. Only one lifetime single/album sale per consumer should be counted.
Hector Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 (edited) "Bloody Mary" would have at least potentially been a top 10 or top 20 hit with the UGC streams included. What also hurt it was the sped up version not being officially released to Spotify or Apple Music. Edited July 12, 2023 by Hector

OT: Flowers and Calm Down. And even though I go back and forth on Gaga, Bloody Mary is one of her best songs, so it’s cool to see it there.

I mean sth def was fishy from the tank ESV became but Flowers is big, it sold 380k pure in the US which is amazing

It’s just a monster hit that cannibalized the album, unfortunately. It happens. 1
Wicked Posted July 12, 2023 Posted July 12, 2023 J Cole bigger in 2023 than Kendrick and Drake confirmed
SharonStone Posted July 13, 2023 Posted July 13, 2023 Gaga having a bigger global smash than all her peers without needing to release a music video, having 1 year of non stop residency on TTH or releasing desperately speed up versions. 1
