Are guys automatically 'Hot' when they have muscles/abs? (Esp for the gays)

Not everyone is born with a pretty face. But anyone can work on their body. So i would prefer a guy with great body over handsome face because he at least worked for it.

If you have a beefy, muscular, defined body then pretty much, you'd have to be VERY unfortunate looking in the face to not be at least somewhat hot.

They're overrated in the sense of people acting like it's everything. I'd take a guy without muscles that has a great personality versus a guy with muscles but has a rotten personality. They absolutely don't automatically make a guy hot.

Face, voice, height, personality and mannerisms matter more.

 

Heavy promotion of muscles in instagram and media desensitized many including me. However muscles look significantly more attractive in real life than in photos. Muscular arms can be very seducing when they are up close to you in person. I wouldn't feel 3/10 of that experience with the exact same image in photos or  videos.
