And by "quite periods" they mean when she is not on tour, because since the tour started she has moved 2.6M units in April, 3.1M in May and 3.2M in June. This is only through streaming, without pure sales added.

Speak Now about to gatecrash 15 million this week or next week at the latest  reputation, Lover, folklore all will pass that eventually  1989 likely crossing 30 million not THAT long after The Eras Tour is over (especially with the TV)

The first thing to notice here is her debut album, with over 10 Million units. She was just a high school girl when this album was written and recorded.

 

Than her dominant era started. 20 Million and in sales units per album, Speak Now the only flaw to that (But Speak Now TV will push it closer to 20M). 

 

Than came 5 more studio albums. Unfortunately people compare them to her 20M sellers and overlook how hard and unrealistic it is to keep such a high standard. Only 4 female artists have more than two gigantic 20M sellers.

 

Regardless 10 Million per album (with a little flaw that is Evermore)  is fantastic this far out in her career. Even if she declines to a lower standard that is 5M per album would be great now.

 

She will win her 4th IFPI award this year, lost two of them because of BTS. But this year and next year she is the favorite.

 

In 2023 Taylor is:

The world‘s best selling artist

Spotify‘s most streamed artist

The world‘s highest grossing touring artist

The world‘s highest earning celebrity

A favorite at the Grammys, BBMA‘s, AMA‘s to win multiple awards
