She only got the number 1 cuz everyone wanted LN to loose so here he is back at the top

She is #1 globally as well, so that's a stretch. Also, it's lose. One 'o'.

Not a surprise given last week's charts, but Last Night is set to finally take the #1 spot on the Canadian Hot 100 chart:

If there wasn't that suddenly drop from Calm Down on pop radio, it would've been #1 for over 15 weeks for sure

It seems like the Canadian chart is more radio driven than the Hot 100

Have not heard this once out in the wild and I live two blocks from a ton of bars that always have music playing you can hear from the street. The monoculture is dead.

The Hot 100 is pretty dire this year. I feel like only a few songs are able to become big/memorable hits. Music consumption is so wide ranging now that everything has a weak chart point value... wow.

The US needs to implement the UK rule for album bombs. There's no reason entire albums should be debuting on the hot 100.

They should implement that as well as consider ACR honestly. Some of these songs should not be holding on so long!

Why do chart points matter? It's actually great people get to listen to whatever they want and have the power to make songs chart. Radio has always and will always be the problem.

I’m saying that songs are less likely now to be omnipresent/universal smash hits that everyone knows. Listening is spreading out more due to access and exploration, which is cool! But you aren’t going to have songs on the chart that everyone knows. You can clearly see that trend through the lower chart points all around. It used to be heavier at the top.
